The laptop's comes in three names Vaio Duo 13, Vaio pro 11 and Vaio pro 13
and run in windows 8 operating system. The company claims that the pro
models are the lightest laptops ever manufactured. The pro 11 weighs
just 870 grams, pro 13 weighs 1.060 Kg and Duo 13 weighs 1.30 Kg. Both comes with a screen resolution of 1920 X 1080 and includes Sony's X-reality for mobile technology, ClearAudio+ technology and
Rapid wake technology.
The
Vaio Duo 13 provides both the functionality of a laptop and a tablet,
ie it can be converted to a tablet. The device has a screen size of 13
inches and comes with an electronic pen for smoother interaction with
the touch screen. The new surf slider design makes smooth transition
from laptop to tablet and vice versa. The laptop has a full featured
keyboard and a trackpad. It has 8 MP of rear facing camera. The device
can connect to the internet in sleep mode and update the applications.It
has a battery life of 18 hours. The product is available in 2 colors
namely carbon black and carbon white. The device has a price tag of
$1,399.
The
vaio pro is a touch enabled laptop. The device comes with 11 and 13
inch models and has a nine hour battery life which can be extended by
using a sheet battery. This laptop includes near field communications, a
feature which allows to communicate and transfer data with other NFC
enabled devices. It also includes a PCIe SSD drive which is faster than
the normal SSD drives. The product is available in carbon black and
carbon silver colors.The pro models has a price tag of $1,149 and
$1,249.
